Want to get into tea but don’t know where to start? Always drink the same types of tea and want to expand your palate? Curious about Chinese tea? This class is for anyone looking to deepen their tea knowledge!

Tea 101 provides a solid foundation for further tea learning and exploration. Madeleine from Tile Cat Tea House will share about her own journey with tea in China’s Yunnan province and beyond, then cover the six different types of tea, interesting bits of tea history, the basics of tea processing (in Yunnan), and gongfu-style brewing. There will be plenty of time for questions and, of course, tea tasting!
